Vadodara
A cosmopolitan city in Gujarat is called Vadodara or Baroda. A fitting legacy to Maratha monarch Sayaji Rao Gaekwad III, who had a vision to turn this Big City into an educational, industrial, and commercial hub, Vadodara is home to some of the most outstanding examples of architecture. The Lakshmi Vilas Palace, one of India's most opulent palaces, as well as many other renowned structures make Vadodara the cultural center of Gujarat. This location is the most sought-after during the nine days of the Navratri celebration, with a significant portion of it being inhabited by the Gujaratis. No Indian city celebrates the Navratri festival with more fervor and jubilation than Vadodara.
