HOW TO REACH PUERTO PRINCESA

  • Flight - Traveling from Flights is the easiest and fastest mode of Transport. Flight to Puerto Princesa depart from either Manila or Cebu. You can travel from Manila to Puerto Princesa in just over an hour thanks to these low-cost airlines' almost daily service on the route. There are also flights from Clark, Iloilo, Cebu, and Davao.
  • Sea - You can take ferries and super ferries from the nearby islands if you prefer to travel by sea. Another destination in Palawan is Coron, which is ten hours away by sea.
  • Road - The various shuttles and Roll on/Roll Off buses that travel to and from Puerto Princesa will also allow you to leave. There aren't many options for where to go — these shuttles primarily connect El Nido and Puerto Princesa.

HOW TO GET AROUND

  • Tricycle - Tricycles are the most visible mode of transportation once you arrive on the island. You may or may not be able to ride these vibrant tricycles if there are already passengers because they follow routes.
  • Jeepney - A jeepney is another option for transportation to and from the city centre. They have set routes and are more expensive than riding a tricycle. It's best to inform the driver of your intended destination, as this can be confusing for non-locals.
  • Rent - You can hire a car and explore the area if you prefer some privacy. For a hassle-free adventure, you can also rent a private van with a driver or hire one with a guide.
