HOW TO REACH KLIS FORTRESS

Flight - The closest airport that will make it easier to reach Klis's Fortress is Split (SPU). In about 1 hour and 9 minutes, you can ride a bus from Split (SPU) to the Fortress of Klis via Split - Sirina and Klis 2.
Road - Only 12 kilometers separate Split and Klis Fortress, which is readily accessible by bus and other forms of public transportation. Klis Fortress can be reached via bus route 22. (from Split).

HOW TO GET AROUND

Local Bus - Bus route 22 will take you to Klis Fortress. (from Split). On board, tickets can be purchased. The bus line's final halt is where the fortress is located. There is a second bus route 34, but it doesn't run very frequently.
Rental - If traveling by vehicle, turn right at the Solin crossroads if approaching from the direction of Split. Continue driving north, and after passing through the tunnel in Klis, take the second left and pursue the road to the peak of the hill.
Shuttle Bus - Using a shuttle bus is an additional affordable and practical way to tour Klis Fortress. It is straight and the ticket costs only €3.
