Rail - Rail transportation in Colorado is very limited beyond interstate options. The RTD rail system provides Denver with urban and commuter rail service to more than 50 stations throughout the metro and Denver areas, including Boulder, Longmont, Aurora, Lyttelton, Lakewood, Golden and Arvada.

Bus - The main bus service in the area is Greyhound, which has a network of fixed routes and its own terminals in most central cities. The company has an excellent safety record, the buses are comfortable and usually run on time.
Rental - The Colorado car rental market is busy and competitive, so you can get good deals, especially if you rent for a week or more.
