Bhimgarh Fort - Jammus' Treasure And Historical Significant Top Attraction

Bhimgarh Fort

The Bhimgarh fort was first built out of just clay. However, one of Maharaj Rishipal Rana's heirs had it stone-built. Gulab Singh of Jammu and Kashmir began work on the repair of Reasi Fort in 1817, and it was completed in 1841. He constructed a sturdy stone wall at the entrance gate that is one meter broad and fifty meters long to keep the fort safe from all of the state's foes. Beautiful sculpture can be found all over the main entry gate, which is built of Baluka stones. Statues of the goddess Mahakali and the god Hanuman are located on the front wall. This fort, which has a serene temple within and a beautiful water body adjacent, is undoubtedly one of the best-known tourist destinations in Jammu and Kashmir.
