80 Lakh People Took a Holy Dip Till 12 Noon
More than 80 lakh devotees have taken a holy dip in the Maha Kumbh Mela till 12 noon. The District Magistrate of Prayagraj is also taking stock of the situation by reaching ground zero. According to DM Prayagraj Ravindra Kumar Mandad, who reached the Maha Kumbh Mela area, the first bathing festival of Maha Kumbh, Paush Purnima, went peacefully. Special vigilance is being observed from the city to the fair area.

The Security of Maha Kumbh is Impenetrable
It is expected that 40 to 50 crore devotees will take a dip in the Maha Kumbh this time. The government has made strict arrangements for their security. 113 drones underwater, 24-hour surveillance from the control room, ATS and NSG commandos, CRPF, NDRF, ITBP, PSC, Police, and STF personnel have been deployed. 2700 AI cameras have been installed. 102 police posts have been set up on 7 routes. A high-tech CCTV control room has been prepared. The security of Maha Kumbh has been done in a total of 7 layers.

There Will be Three Amrit Snan in Maha Kumbh
Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela will host six bathing festivals, including three Amrit Snan festivals on Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya, and Basant Panchami. The first festival, starting on 13 January, will take place on Makar Sankranti on 14 January 2025. The second festival on Mauni Amavasya, will take place on 29 January 2025. The third festival on Basant Panchami, will take place on 2 February 2025. The fifth festival on Magh Purnima will take place on 12 February 2025, and the final festival, on Mahashivratri, will take place on 26 February 2025.
